General Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Plumber to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve various plumbing issues efficiently.Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on projects.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Requirements:Proven experience as a plumber.Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment effectively.Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.MUST BE LOCATED IN ALICE SPRINGS OR WILLING TO RELOCATEPreferred Qualifications:Trade school certification or completed apprenticeship program.Additional certifications (e.g., backflow prevention, gas fitting) are a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.4 weeks annual leave.Opportunities for advancement and professional development.Company car.Travel reimbursement.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplementary Pay:Overtime pay.Penalty rates.Application Question:Are you located in Alice Springs or willing to relocate?Licence/Certification:White Card (Preferred)Driver Licence (Preferred)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
