The Facility:
This is a 300-bed Tertiary Facility that provides acute care facilities and treats over 24,000 inpatients and over 225,000 outpatients annually. The Emergency Department provides a 24-hour, 7-day a week emergency medical care service. It is the only major emergency department in the North of the State. Specialist emergency physicians are always on duty on weekdays, most weekends, and most evenings. An emergency physician is on-call 24 hours a day for major trauma and critically ill medical cases. The department is recognized for advanced training of emergency physicians.
The Role:
Our client is looking for an individual to work in their busy Psychiatric department in a reasonably senior capacity that will require supervision of more junior staff. This position is an accredited facility, and the opportunity to join the FRANZCP training program at this facility once you are accepted onto the course is available.
The Requirements:
You must hold General or Limited registration with AHPRA or be eligible for provisional registration via the Competent Authority Pathway.
