General Medicine Consultant

The Position An excellent opportunity has come up for an experienced General Physician to join the team on a full time appointment for 5 years, with the possibility of an extension(s).

General Medicine is a blended model of Physicians and Generalists, along with a number of junior medical staff and training registrars providing inpatient and outpatient services.
In addition to four general medicine teams, local teams include medical oncology with a soon-to-open radiation oncology centre, a geriatrician-led subacute care service and a leading palliative care service.
A high dependency unit is managed by rotating specialists.
The Requirements To apply you must either be: Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Internal /General Medicine On RACP training program Hold or eligible for the FRACP IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ IMG's with RACP interview date IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
