Provide clinical management for acute and subacute patients under the supervision of senior physicians Manage inpatient care, including emergency department presentations and ward consults Participate in the supervision and teaching of junior medical staff Conduct Structured Interdisciplinary Bedside Rounds (SIBR) to facilitate discharge planning and patient flow Assist in patient flow management by working closely with access unit staff Participate in clinical audits to improve quality and patient care Fulfill requirements for RACP Advanced Training and participate in research Be available for on-call and after-hours work About You:
Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible for registration PGY 4+ by February 2025 Commitment to professional development, including participation in teaching and learning programs Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence Willingness to contribute to a positive patient experience and quality healthcare delivery Desirable Qualifications:
Successful completion of FRACP part 1 (Written and Clinical Examinations) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications Understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards Interest in dual training programs (e.g., geriatrics) For More Information:
