Your new opportunity: A newly created opportunity has been established for a General Manager, Truck Supply Chain to own the end-to-end process of the Truck Supply Chain, from OEM order placement to Dealer Delivery.
The successful candidate will form a key part of the On-Highways leadership team with a focus on Engineering, Sales Operations & Production Business Units.
Key Responsibilities: Management of the Company's Engineering functions for the On-Highway segmentDevelop and maintain appropriate relationships with major OEM and partner brandsEnsure high levels of customer service in the delivery of Engineering for new and existing products across the On-Highway product portfolioStrategy development and implementation of the Company's Sales Operations function for the On-Highway segmentManage the provision of end-to-end sales support across all On-Highway brands and incorporate effective group processes to embed best practice and efficiencies.Relationship management with shipping lines and internal freight suppliers to ensure the efficient sales administration and delivery of vehicles.Production: Oversee and provide direction to the Production team's overall qualityOversee the company-wide truck production output through review of internal and external processes as required.Responsible for the direction of lean manufacturing, industry benchmarking and best practiceAbout you: Appropriate degree qualifications in engineering or equivalent relevant skills and experience.Highly developed commercial and strategy development skills, with Business qualifications preferable.Excellent people management skills, with proven ability to lead and engage employees.Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
