The Role As the newly created General Manager for Superannuation Partnerships at MLC Life Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in driving long-term profitable growth across our Group Insurance clients, with a focus on superannuation funds. Reporting directly to the Chief Group Insurance Officer, you will be responsible for enhancing and expanding relationships with existing and potential partners.
By leveraging insights and knowledge-sharing, you will optimise business opportunities across client portfolios, ensuring seamless service delivery from member engagement through to claims management. This role involves shaping the future of MLC Life Insurance's Group Insurance proposition, leading tender processes, and securing new business that aligns with the company's growth ambitions. You will also be instrumental in fostering customer trust, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the overall reputation of MLC Life Insurance in the market. Your strategic leadership will ensure we continue to meet the insurance needs of our members and maintain our position as a market leader in the superannuation space.
About You You are a seasoned leader with at least 10 years of industry experience, particularly within the superannuation and life insurance sectors. Your strong understanding of the superannuation and group insurance market, combined with your exceptional relationship management skills, positions you perfectly to lead this critical function.
You bring a strategic mindset and an ability to drive growth while balancing risk and compliance. Your communication skills are highly developed, allowing you to effectively influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. In addition, you hold a relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, law, or marketing, and are eligible to act as a Responsible Officer for MLC Life Insurance.
