General Manager - Sporting Club

A prominent Sydney based sporting club is seeking to appoint a General Manager for the 2025 season and beyond.

This hands-on role reports to the Board of Directors.

The key responsibilities are: Coordination and management of in season and off season events and activities; Management all operations within budget and maximizing Club revenue and profit for a financially sustainable future; Creating multiple communication channels to showcase the Club and its sponsors to the club's members and broader community. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: An ability to lead and engage a diverse range of stakeholders Experience in sports administration Commercial and business acumen to deliver against strategic and financial objectives Strong communication skills and an understanding of a range of communication channels including social media Capability in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and activities Undertake background checks including Current Working with Children check Valid Driver's License How to Apply: Please submit your resume by pressing APPLY NOW.
