General Manager, Sea Link Northern Territory Join an award-winning ASX listed tourism and transport company Access to a range of Employee Benefits About the Role Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Business Operations, Sea Link, the General Manager, Northern Territory is responsible for the effective management and leadership of the Northern Territory operations including marine and bus operations, sales and marketing, fleet maintenance, people leadership, financial management, strategy and business growth, risk and safety management and customer and corporate support. The role requires strong, effective and consistent leadership and strong management of the performance of the business. Integral to the role is the requirement to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. About You To be effective in this role, you will be commercially astute and have extensive leadership experience. You will also have a proven track record in negotiating and managing partnership agreements. You will also have the following: High level interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with others Experience in managing a commercial business Experience in strategic planning and business plan implementation Sound knowledge of the political processes that may impact the business Experience in dealing with the media Crisis management experience Previous knowledge and experience in managing a business with a strong focus on safety and risk. Experience in the tourism industry will be well regarded.
