About the role We are seeking a strategic thinker with a proven background in leading and managing a national sales function and team to achieve organisational goals. Reporting to the Sales Director (Australia), you will leverage your knowledge and experience in commercial operations and sales to effectively manage the P&L of the tyre business through the development and implementation of key strategies. You will lead the sales team to ensure sales budgets are achieved with effective use of business assets and human resources.
Your base will be in the Adelaide Head Office with regular travel. You will work closely with the General Manager, Retail Operations to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and customer value is maximised. Your team will consist of 6 direct reports with a total remit of 41 teammates.
About you Must be perceptive to the needs and motivational requirements of the business stakeholders.Ability to communicate and negotiate clearly in a timely fashion with staff and customers at all levels.Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of professionals.Proven success and exposure as a leader in commercial operations and sales.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong numeracy, financial, literacy and computer skills.Drives competitive and innovative strategies and is able to generate alignment against the strategic direction.Personal commitment to excellence.Champions the organization's shared values and beliefs.Demonstrates self-awareness and emotional intelligence.Embraces and leads change and innovation.If you are a passionate sales leader and serious about joining a global employer and ethical corporate citizen, then we encourage you to submit an application for this fantastic opportunity.
