Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Sage Hotel Wollongong. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and enhance the hotel's competitive position in the market.Maintain exceptional standards of guest service, ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience during their stay.Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including rooms division, food and beverage, sales and marketing, finance, and human resources.Manage budgets and financial performance, monitoring key performance indicators and implementing cost-control measures as needed.Cultivate strong relationships with guests, employees, suppliers, and the local community, representing the hotel with professionalism and integrity.Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including rooms division, food and beverage, sales and marketing, finance, and human resources.Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.Knowledge of local market trends and competition in the hospitality industry.Must be eligible to work in Australia.At Vista Hospitality we strongly believe in developing our own colleagues and promoting from within, so the opportunities are boundless for those that are passionate and deliver.
