Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)Full timeAt Australian Unity, we are going through an exciting phase of innovative business growth in our Residential Aged Care business, which brings to life our Better Together social model of ageing well, offering a continuum of care and support services within an environment that provides empowerment and 'choice' for our residents to live how they want to.We have an exciting opportunity for a new General Manager to join us at our Rathdowne Place site, located at Carlton.Your New Role:As the General Manager, you will lead and manage all operational, care, and clinical service delivery, ensuring that your teams are trained, supported, and engaged to deliver the best experience at all times for your residents.Leading the end-to-end Better Together customer experience across the precinct by delivering exceptional customer service, support, and careLeading the operations team by promoting a positive culture to fulfill the Better Together promiseFostering an engaged and supportive environment whilst overseeing recruitment, roster management, training, and providing coaching on best practicesWorking closely with key stakeholders of the precinct including residents, families, guests, contractors, and staff to ensure high standards of care and exceptional customer serviceOverseeing the precinct financial performance and reporting; ensuring key performance measures are delivered in line with budget and support requirementsIdentifying and managing risks, managing customer needs, and complex issues as requiredOverseeing the precinct obligations for quality assurance, audits, and Aged Care accreditationsAbout you:Above all, you will be a 'Values' person and an accomplished People Leader, who aligns to and can build their team culture around our values of Bold, Warm and Honest.Does this sound like you?Previous experience as a General Manager in a customer-focused industry.
