The Club has an annual revenue turnover of $5.6 million, with over 1000 golfing members, and 31 full-time and casual staff. There are currently over 275 people registered on the membership waitlist.

The role will require an experienced leader with a strong understanding and knowledge of the golf environment and the Club industry generally. The successful applicant will report to the President and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club, ensuring that all areas operate at maximum potential. The role will also act as Company Secretary.
The Club is currently operating successfully; however, the Management Committee welcomes a fresh perspective and a focus on developing the Club's revenues away from just the business of golf.
The successful candidate would ideally have:Experience as a senior-level manager in managing the day-to-day operations of a golf club, and a demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with the Course Superintendent and Director of Golf.Proven record of having delivered positive business growth at a golf club (or similar size club).Proven ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders including members, staff and the wider community including local MPs.Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to create and manage budgets, cost control, achievement of targets and deliver outcomes to plan.Demonstrated marketing experience across all forms of media.Experience in overseeing the delivery of major work programs – e.g. golf course upgrade.Familiarity with MYOB, MiClub, SwiftPOS and Odyssey Gaming.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Oversee and guide all aspects of primary club functions (Course, Pro Shop, Catering and Club Administration) in addition to ensuring implementation of the Course Master Plan per the approved plan.In consultation with the Management Committee, assist in setting the strategic direction of the Club and lead the Club in ensuring delivery of the Strategic Plan desired outcomes.Drive a culture of service excellence across all areas of the Club's operations.Ensure the Club's property is maintained to a high standard of presentation.Act as Secretary of the Club under the Associations Act 1981 and ensure organisational compliance with the Act and associated regulations.Evolve the club to a higher-level service-focused environment for members, guests, sponsors, and the wider community.RemunerationThe role can offer flexibility with respect to working hours; however, weekend work will occasionally be required given the nature of golf itself.
