We are a growing recycled plastics manufacturing company dedicated to sustainable production and innovative recycling solutions. As we expand, we are seeking a visionary General Manager to drive our operations, manage teams, and guide us toward strategic growth.
Role Overview:
As the General Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to all departments, ensuring efficient alignment with our organizational goals. You will oversee financial management, production processes, maintenance, and administrative functions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and guide all departments to achieve company objectives. Oversee the financial management, partnering with the Finance Manager to optimize fiscal operations. Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Managers to ensure manufacturing efficiency and equipment reliability. Optimise HR and administrative functions with the Administration team. Develop and implement organizational policies for operational effectiveness. Foster a culture of innovation, improvement, and employee development. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Manage and monitor KPIs to track performance across departments. Liaise with Directors, providing regular updates and strategic input. Key Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. Proven experience in senior management, demonstrating successful leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word). Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities with a proven track record. Expertise in finance, production, maintenance, and administrative functions. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team. Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends. Ability to manage complex issues with innovative solutions. Sensitivity and adaptability in working with culturally diverse teams. Attributes:
