You will be excited by a challenge, resilient to change, and a skilled problem solver.You will need to possess and demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered:Demonstrated understanding around the management of finance, budgets and project costs for both residential and commercial opportunities.Feasibility project reports and investigations including a sound understanding of the principles of the time value of money including Internal Rates of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), Peak Debt Exposure etc.Appointing and managing a broad team of consultants, through the design development and authority approvals process such as environmental, town planning, engineering etc as well as the development, selling and settling phases of the projects.A strong understanding of the planning process and successful management/transition into delivery, including successful discharge of planning permit and Statement of Compliance conditions.Delivery of civil subdivision and built-form housing construction works, including management and preparation of delivery works contracts.Highly developed stakeholder management experience.Well-developed writing skills and dealing with government processes and systems.Highly developed programming skills and demonstrated commitment to delivery targets.Previous exposure to the sales and marketing process, including management of Sales Agents.Good understanding of large-scale residential projects and the specific challenges that need to be managed.Understanding of the legislative impacts on land development and the ability to contribute to the negotiation and review of legal agreements when required.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Property, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of property development experience, plus 5 or more years in a leadership role managing complex business and team outcomes.Strong knowledge of the property development process, including design, town planning, managing approvals outcomes, financing, partnership agreements and contract negotiation, and general business leadership.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale development projects.Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions.Proficiency in ARGUS EstateMaster project development feasibility software and Microsoft Office Suite software.Desirable Skills (not essential):Post Graduate qualifications such as an MBA, or Masters in a related field.Experience working with private clients and family offices.Company secretary and board governance experience or qualifications from reputable providers (AICD, Governance Institute or similar).If you have the required experience, strengths and are a natural leader, then we are eager to consider your application.
