We are committed to cultivating an equal, diverse, and inclusive environment for our staff, residents, and stakeholders.Description:The OpportunityReporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, we have an exciting permanent opportunity for a hands-on and enthusiastic General Manager to join our Project Management Office team within our Commercial department.
We are not only seeking someone who naturally aligns with our culture but is also connected to contributing to improved outcomes for our clients.The role will be instrumental in leading and expanding our Project Management Office and embed its use within the business, liaising with internal stakeholders to coach them on processes, governance and templates, to bring more rigour and structure to the management of current and upcoming projects.
The successful applicant is able to hit the ground running and get up to speed quickly.
The role will also be required to manage a number of projects within the Project Management Office.
Strong people as well as project management skills are essential.Skills and Experiences:About YouYou will be proactive and comfortable engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will thrive in a busy environment with multiple competing priorities to manage.
Previous experience in a project management role is essential.Specific skills and experience required:Extensive experience managing and delivering multiple projects, preferably in the community housing, private housing, construction, or for-purpose sectors.Successful track record in dealing with senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments.Extensive experience delivering quality service in a multi-client environment.Well-developed organisational and/or project management skills including ability to manage conflicting priorities and high work volumes without affecting quality of service delivery.Highly developed written and oral communication skills.Strong influencing, negotiating, problem-solving skills and relationship management skills.Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong decision-making ability.Ability to learn quickly and manage change within complex environments.Proficient digital literacy skills including Microsoft products and project management tools, including Microsoft Project.Persistent and considered approach to delivering outcomes in the face of delays, changes, or setbacks.Tertiary qualifications in business, or related field and relevant discipline.Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques with substantial experience in the planning and delivery of projects to agreed scope, time, and cost.Project management qualification preferred.What we offer in return5 Weeks Annual LeaveFlexible working arrangementsSalary Packaging for living expenses, meal, and entertainment expensesExcellent career development opportunitiesRecognition program16 weeks paid parental leavePlease note that it is a minimum requirement of this position that all appointments are made subject to a satisfactory National Criminal History or Police Check conducted by Housing Choices Australia and the successful post holder to:Agree and undergo any other employment screening as required by Housing Choices - including but not restricted to Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons and NDIS Worker (this will be as applicable based on the state location and/or function of the role)Agree and comply with Child Safety policies and proceduresProvide a current driver's license and willingness to travel across Housing Choices' locations, if and as required.How to applyDownload a copy of the Position Description and Apply here.
