We are currently looking for a General Manager, Product Management & Marketing who will be part of our Executive team and will report through to the CEO.
The General Manager - Product Management & Marketing will lead innovation for the company and is responsible for conceiving, designing, launching and promoting market leading products and solutions that deliver on the company's strategy.
The position will work with our customers and internal teams to define our product and solution strategy combined with business plans and ROI. In addition to this, the position will take ownership of the product roadmap and its successful implementation to drive profitable revenue growth. This role will ensure the promotion and advocacy of the company's product strategy to enable consistent understanding of the company's product direction and futures and to strengthen the company's competitive position.
The position will have responsibility for developing a culture and practice throughout the team that drives engagement and employee job satisfaction. You will need to lead by example and develop and mentor your direct and indirect reports.
This role will be critical in collaborating and communicating effectively within the Executive team on the product management & marketing team deliverables. In addition to this, you will be an advocate both internally and externally to ensure an understanding of the company's product direction.
Responsibility for the company's product marketing, including product positioning, promotion, packaging and pricing and launching products into the market.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related disciplineAt least 10 years product management experience5 - 10 years management experience - in a similar roleWorked in multi-faceted environmentsIs highly accountable and has a demonstrable track record of delivering on commitmentsCommercial experience and in particular experience in contracts, supplier relationships and customer serviceAbility to communicate with employees, at all levels, both verbal and written and with external professional advisorsAbout us: Our people are our greatest asset and contribute across all levels of our vertically integrated operations to achieve our mission to empower safety and productivity solutions for our customers.
