As the General Manager Place and Community, you'll lead a dedicated team of over 75 community-focused professionals, meeting the needs of almost 50,000 residents and over one million visitors annually. Your dedication to unleashing the potential in people will drive your active role in enhancing staff capabilities and customer service to meet the needs of the community. You will ensure the implementation of plans and strategies that will drive economic development and promote rural, nature based and eco-tourism in the area. Working in partnership with key external partners, you will ensure Council continues to provide adequate support services for vulnerable cohorts in the community.
