Sky City Adelaide is seeking an experienced General Manager People & Culture to join our team and lead a pivotal cultural transformation. In this role, you will shape and drive the Adelaide P&C strategy, spearhead organisational development programs and implement key initiatives, all in alignment with the broader Group P&C vision. About the role Reporting to our Managing Director - Sky City Adelaide, this role plays a key part in supporting Adelaide's leadership team by driving people initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent development, compliance, and overall organisational performance in line with the Sky City business objectives. Leading a diverse team across Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, Human Resources and People Operations, Learning & Development, Safety and Wellbeing, Injury Management, and Wardrobe, the General Manager People & Culture will contribute to business planning and decision making, ensuring all P&C programs delivered are fit for purpose, customer orientated and meet Senior Leadership Team expectations. This role is also a member of the Group P&C Leadership team and ensures that local priorities are aligned with Group objectives, while addressing Adelaide specific needs. A number of the P&C programs will be designed by the Group P&C Centres of Expertise and the General Manager People & Culture will be accountable for their successful implementation, review and measurement, whilst providing input into the design scope. About you The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a Senior P&C Leadership role within a large and complex organisation, backed by tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, Commerce or a related field. A key focus of this role is driving organisational development and leading culture transformation initiatives that align with the broader business strategy. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in implementing change initiatives that foster organisational growth and enhance workplace culture. Experience in employment relations within a unionised environment, including collective bargaining and navigating dynamic employment relations landscapes, is essential. Additionally, they will bring expertise in working in a diverse, multicultural environment, applying a DE&I lens to the organisational initiatives. Strong communication skills (and stakeholder management skills), coupled with the ability to lead and implement organisation-wide culture programs, are critical for success in this role.
