We are seeking an experienced People & Culture professional to drive the Cronulla Sharks through an exciting growth period. Focusing on strategic development, talent attraction, and management across the entire employee life cycle, we are looking for an executive leader who will sit across both the league club and football club divisions.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have proven HR generalist experience managing, developing and rolling out HR strategic initiatives to drive business outcomes. You will be confident, outcomes focused, with a positive disposition to work in a role providing a mix of proactive, advisory and operational support.
Responsibilities Reporting to the CEO, you will have overall accountability for:
Working with the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Leagues Club in the labour planning, recruiting and onboarding required for the opening of the new Cronulla Leagues Club; Shaping and driving organisational culture across the Cronulla Sharks group; Leading the design and implementation of the Cronulla Shark's People & Culture strategy; Oversight of the Cronulla Sharks Community division 'Sharks Have Heart'; Building effective talent pipelines through supporting leaders to identify talent, developing talent and succession plans; What we're looking for At least 10 years' experience in Human Resources with exposure to various HR areas A demonstrated knowledge and experience in dealing with complex employee and industrial relations matters Experience implementing and managing HRIS A consultative approach to coaching and empowering other HR colleagues and managers in HR related topics Experience in designing and implementation large scale cultural programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement and retention An influential leader with a demonstrated knowledge of modern HR practices A strategic and creative thinker with strong commercial acumen Minimum requirement of tertiary qualifications in human resources.
