The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced General Manager People and Culture to lead HR, recruitment and employee engagement for our organization that operates in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
About the Role Create programs to foster a positive work environment for all employees.Formulate & drive the people strategy across the group.Manage cyclical activities including career development pathways, annual performance development processes, employee value proposition, engagement work, health and safety and compliance.Act as a champion and agent for change, ensuring all business changes are well considered, carefully planned and effectively implemented.Provide ongoing support and advice to all levels of management regarding employee relations and succession planning.Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks to the hotel or company, and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programs.Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, policies and procedures.Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees.About You A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.Experience working in hospitality will be highly regarded.Understand and are able to stay updated on all legal requirements.A good communicator and team player who focuses on organization success and has an entrepreneurial approach to business development.Strong understanding of employment law and HR systems.Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:
