Your new role
You will report to the Director of Insights & Planning.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and project manage the team's research and reporting processes.
Liaise with industry experts and research organisations to capture insights.
Evaluate industry data to identify and adapt fit for purpose policy solutions.
Engage with the Director to ensure funding and project milestones are managed.
Provide strategic guidance and assess the impact of research on government levers.
What you'll need to succeed:
Demonstrated experience in the labour market and VET reform topics particularly within the national and state policy context.
End to end project management experience overseeing and managing multiple concurrent projects related to data and research.
Experience working with education or training government departments.
Tertiary Qualifications in Economics, Policy Research, or a related discipline.
Relationship/Stakeholder Management skills and ideally a network within the VET sector.
