As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking a passionate and strategic General Manager of People and Culture to lead our Human Resource initiatives and cultivate a culture of excellence.Role Overview: As the General Manager of People and Culture, you will be instrumental in shaping Healthia's culture and driving people-focused strategies that align with our business goals. Reporting to the CPO and in collaboration with the CEO, you will serve as the final authority on all HR matters, ensuring that our policies and practices support a thriving workplace. You will lead and support a dynamic team and partner with our Clinic Partners and senior leaders to ensure that our teams are engaged, developed, and equipped to deliver exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement people and culture strategies that align with business objectives and promote positive impact workplace culture.Lead talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a diverse and high-performing workforce. Serve as the final authority for all HR matters, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with relevant legislation.Design and enhance employee engagement programs, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.Develop, implement and oversee performance management processes, compliance and reporting requirements.Design and coordinate a process for clinic partner and team leader succession planning, contributing to the selection and development of key talent to ensure continuity in all business unit critical roles.Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, compulsory reporting and best practices in HR management.Advise the Executive team about key updates in HR legislation and collaborate to create and address groupwide strategies and challenges to drive change initiatives.Lead and support organisational change initiatives by developing and executing agile change management plans, ensuring clear communication, and providing guidance to employees throughout the transition to foster acceptance and minimise resistance.In collaboration with Operations, oversee and manage Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.Promote health and wellbeing initiatives that support our team members' physical and mental wellbeing.Qualifications/Experience:Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or related fields and at least 5 years of Human Resources Management experience and proven success in a senior management position leading a HR team, preferably within the private healthcare sector.A proactive and results-oriented leader with a hands-on approach, demonstrating the ability and willingness to support teams directly in achieving their short and long term goals.Strong understanding of employment law, compulsory reporting, employee relations and HR best practices.Proven experience in navigating industrial relations (IR) and employee relations (ER) matters, including representing the organisation in court proceedings.Proven experience in developing and implementing Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) policies and programs within a complex organisation.Strong knowledge of Workcover regulations and requirements across all states, along with a demonstrated success in fostering a culture of safety and compliance among employees.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective people strategies.A passion for creating an inclusive workplace where all team members feel valued and empowered.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.What We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and supportive work environment.The chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.How to Apply:If you are a passionate HR and People and Culture professional, we want to hear from you!
