About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager of Human Resources is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong, pragmatic, and commercially focused mindset with a broad skill set encompassing HR, Safety, and Training.
This role demands the ability to navigate complex business challenges, align HR strategy with organisational goals, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic and operational HR business plans to meet organisational goals.
Lead and mentor a team of 10-12 HR professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Oversee workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives to support growth and retention.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, prioritising health, safety, and well-being across the organisation.
Provide advice on the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and Enterprise Agreements, supporting a strong Employee and Industrial Relations framework.
Key Criteria
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role with strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset.
Expertise in HR, Safety, and Training, with a track record of delivering successful initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
Relevant qualifications in HR, business, or a related field.
