Job Description Novotel Brisbane South Bank is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of this award-winning hotel, while serving as a brand ambassador for Novotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hospitality, exceptional operational expertise, and solid commercial and financial acumen. With the ability to manage a dynamic and diverse team, you will drive the success of the hotel and ensure an outstanding experience for all guests.
As General Manager you will be responsible for:
Leading, inspiring and mentoring a driven team of Heartists to enable their individual growth and help drive the overall success of the businessDeveloping and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest journey experienceSupporting all departments in the achievement of operational targetsOverseeing sales and marketing to maximise occupancy and revenueChampioning employee engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our HeartistsA qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.
About You Over 5 years of senior leadership experience in hotels, with a strong focus on operations and achieving commercial successProven business and financial acumen, including revenue management and budgeting, with a track record of driving profitability in Rooms and F&B outletsStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in coaching and inspiring teamsStrategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity, and commitment to Accor values and cultureA passion for Food and Beverage with a proven track record of delivering experiencesFull Australian working rightsDiversity, equity and inclusion are paramount to us and our ambition is to attract, recruit, develop and promote talent.
