Full-time ExecutiveDetails: Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to fill the position of General Manager, Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS) on a five-year executive contract.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager, MHJHADS is responsible for managing the operations for the service area across the CHS network. The incumbent will provide high level insights and guidance in the operation of patient flow systems and processes to improve access and performance across the system. They will maintain effective linkages across CHS and other ACT health services to ensure they are person and family centred.
The position is responsible for acute, sub-acute and community-based health service delivery, and building and maintaining partnerships to deliver innovative models of care.
It is expected that the General Manager will be an active participant on the CHS executive. They will provide high level support and advice to senior leaders and team members to ensure organisation wide goals and objectives are met. The successful applicant will provide outstanding and strategically focused leadership, communicate professionally with high level internal and external stakeholders and work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy within a complex team.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $344,954 - $358,775 depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $307,134. Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years.
