As the General Manager of Major Projects, you will be responsible for the entire project delivery framework, including the systems, tools, and processes that drive successful project outcomes. You will lead and oversee the execution of complex, large-scale projects, focusing on ensuring each project is completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with best-practice project management standards—all while upholding a steadfast commitment to safety.
You will be an accomplished people leader with significant experience in leading, developing, managing, motivating, and guiding teams to excel while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Additionally, you'll play a key role in managing agreements, construction contracts, and contractual systems.
You will be an accomplished communicator with strong financial literacy and a deep understanding of risk management in the context of major projects. With experience in reporting and engaging with diverse stakeholders—including executive management, the CEO, Board members, government agencies, regulators, contractors, and external partners—you will convey critical information and timely insights to support strategic decision-making, fostering transparency and instilling trust throughout the organisation.
You will have proven experience delivering major projects, with a background in infrastructure, utilities, or construction. You'll bring a strong track record of leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, supported by relevant qualifications.
