This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's day-to-day activities, driving operational efficiency, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget, and leading a high-performance team. The General Manager will work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to align business operations with strategic goals and ensure sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Strategic Oversight:Provide strategic leadership across the organization, ensuring alignment of departmental goals with company-wide objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the company's long-term strategy and growth plans.Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Oversee the execution of key company initiatives, ensuring that projects and operations align with strategic goals.Operational Excellence and Process Improvement:Oversee and optimize the operational performance of all projects, ensuring that best practices, industry standards, and company methodologies are followed.Identify and implement process improvements across the company to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.Conduct regular reviews of operational processes, systems, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous operational excellence.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.People and Resource Management:Lead, mentor, and develop department managers, project teams, and supervisors to achieve high levels of performance and professional growth.Ensure appropriate resource allocation across all projects to optimize team productivity and meet the company has the right talent to meet its objectives.Financial Oversight and Budget Management:Oversee the financial performance of the company, ensuring alignment with financial goals, profitability, and cash flow management.Review project budgets and financial performance regularly, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are completed within budget.Work closely with the finance team to manage financial forecasting, reporting, and resource allocation.Approve billing processes, review financial statements, and ensure that the company's financial policies are followed.Client and Stakeholder Management:Maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and business partners, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term business growth.Oversee the development and implementation of client-specific project plans, ensuring alignment with their objectives and requirements.Participate in business development and sales efforts, including identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and attending client meetings.Risk Management and Compliance:Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure that the company mitigates operational, financial, and safety risks.Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including HSE regulations and labour laws.Address and resolve any legal or contractual issues, working with legal teams and external consultants when needed.Continuous Improvement and Innovation:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to ensure KWCC remains competitive and innovative.Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in all operational aspects, including project management, resource utilization, and customer service.Encourage a culture of innovation, empowering employees to contribute ideas that improve company operations and client offerings.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Project Success: Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting client expectations.Operational Efficiency: Achieve measurable improvements in operational efficiency, resource utilization, and process management.Financial Performance: Meet or exceed company financial goals, including profitability, cash flow management, and cost savings.Client Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction, contributing to repeat business and strong client relationships.Team Performance and Development: Foster a high-performing, engaged workforce with strong employee retention and professional development outcomes.Candidate ProfileExperience & Skills:At least 8-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the civil construction, mining, or related industries.Proven track record in managing operations, including resource planning, financial oversight, and project management.Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.Extensive experience in managing complex budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.Strong client relationship management and business development experience.Ability to think strategically, while being hands-on in managing daily operations and resolving challenges.Qualifications:Relevant industry certifications, such as project management or
