About the Role:
This is a company already performing strongly, led by a very committed senior management team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your remit is to deliver consistent profit growth while protecting an already positive culture.
You will build resilience into the business and ensure a sustainable future through enhancing the capability of people and processes, enabling the creators to step away from day-to-day operational control.
Responsibilities: Coach and develop key individuals, enabling them to realise their professional ambitions while enhancing the valuable impact they are currently making.
Review existing processes, identify opportunities to refine and enhance them, and ensure the successful implementation of initiatives designed to optimise productivity.
Review current customer relationships, identify and investigate potential avenues for profitable new business, then develop and drive execution of sales and marketing strategies.
Lead the broader development of your people, building capability across a technically strong, highly regarded workforce.
Key to your success will be your preparedness to become the face of the business, both externally and internally, building trust and credibility with your people, customers, industry bodies and the company directors.
About You:
You are a proven leader able to demonstrate:
Deep experience in production environments containing a "made-to-order" manufacturing component.
An ability to coach and develop your people to higher levels of both individual and team performance.
A history of applying continuous improvement methodologies to achieve quantifiable performance gains.
Having crafted and executed business development strategies that resulted in profitable growth.
Effectively harnessing technology platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM systems) to improve business performance.
Ideally, experience in privately-owned businesses, including engaging directly with the owners/shareholders.
