What you'll be doing We are seeking a motivated and engaging senior leader to drive the operations & performance across our Consumer sector.
The role will see you be involved in Go Lives and New Customer implementations, as well as managing, developing and growing operations for DHL Supply Chain.
Reporting to the Vice President - Consumer, you will provide strategic direction and leadership, excellence in operations, customer satisfaction, employee welfare and engaging the customer through innovative solutions.
More Specifically: Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce additional revenue channels aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Develop, manage, and report on budgets to ensure financial targets are met, with a strong focus on profitability and cost control Advocate for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities across site functions Retaining and growing current business with an ability to build long term positive relationships with customers Strong leadership in ensuring the safety, culture, welfare, recruitment, retention and development of employees We're keen to speak to people who have the following skills & experience To succeed in this demanding role, you will need to have a high-level knowledge and understanding of operations, people, and be able to effectively prioritize all operations to ensure the key time critical milestones are achieved.
You will also be required to have a sound knowledge of all facets of Supply Chain Operations.
Significant relevant experience in supply chain operations Demonstrable experience in driving performance to ensure long term growth of the business and achieve business plan objectives including profitability Demonstrable history of developing long term strategic partnerships to the highest stakeholder level within industry Leading and developing a highly capable operations team Clear communication, influencing, leadership and relationship building with an ability to partner with the business to drive key outcomes Superior end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities Proven experience providing strategic direction and leadership Be a strong and effective communicator with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal & external stakeholders Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
Advanced MS Office; specifically Excel and Power Point
