The role will report to the Regional Manager - NSW, and will be responsible for:
ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the home, overseeing the delivery of quality care services to residents, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.continual audit and review of all care home activities to ensure effective risk management and compliance standards are met.active and timely management of resident complaints and incidents.participating in the reaccreditation and compliance of the home.reducing employee turnover, optimising retention of staff and employee engagement. management of finances and budgets (wage and non-wage expense).To be a successful candidate, you will have: Proven leadership and operational capabilities within the Aged Care industry would be ideal (although not a must).Knowledge of the National Safety & Quality and Aged Care Accreditation Quality StandardsWorking knowledge of the principles of NSW sector acute and aged care funding principlesExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills Current driver's license, national police check and NDIS ScreeningAttractive remuneration package with performance bonus eligibility.A thorough onboarding and induction program.Ongoing training & personal development with Australian College of Nursing.Personal and professional wellbeing support through Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Free annual flu vaccination.Reward and recognition initiatives such as Aurrum All Stars.
