Our client is a vibrant and innovative automotive and lifestyle business, and is seeking a General Manager to lead their operations and team across two retail workshop sites.

The founders have expanded their interest into other aligned areas and as such have recognised the need to appoint a strong leader to take over the running of the foundation business.
With two workshop locations, a team of 10 permanent staff and scope for expansion, this is a unique management opportunity.
The Role:
As General Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, financial performance, and foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
You'll lead a young, dynamic team, develop strategies for operational efficiency, growth, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do: Lead and Inspire: Motivate and empower a diverse team to perform at their best while fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.Drive Operations: Oversee the smooth functioning of both workshop sites, managing resources, inventory, and schedules to maximize efficiency.Deliver Results: Monitor and improve financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and expense management.Enhance Customer Experience: Ensure top-notch service, address feedback, and implement initiatives to grow customer loyalty.Strategize for Growth: Work with the Business Owner to identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and innovation.Ensure Compliance: Uphold safety, legal, and regulatory standards while managing risks effectively.What We're Looking For: Proven leadership skills with experience inspiring and managing teams.Strong operational expertise, particularly in multi-site or retail environments.Practical financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of the automotive industry is a bonus but not essential.Why Join Us?
