General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Newvolt Energy Pty Ltd, a subsidiary enterprise of Montnets Capital, was established in Dec 2023 focusing on renewable energy solutions such as solar, energy storage, and EV chargers for both residential and commercial & industrial applications in Australia.We are seeking an experienced individual in this industry with outstanding management capability and a strong background for this role.Responsibilities:Cooperate with the Board of Directors (BoD) in the company annual strategy meetings and accept the company annual business target of each financial year.Periodically report to BoD about the company's overall operating performances, including sales revenue, profits, cash flow, and key issues during operation.Enact and fine-tune company regulations, such as sales policy, project management regulations, HR & financial management regulations, etc.Set specific goals for each individual department based on company annual targets, and organize periodic performance reviews and evaluations for all departments.Conduct marketing strategy and market trends study, as well as develop company sales strategy.Provide day-to-day directions and management to all departments, and take measures to maximize company profit and operating efficiency.Coordinate with relevant department managers on decisions regarding operation methods, procurements, financial issues, sales, and human resources.Organize relevant departments in applying for certificates and/or memberships from various parties/authorities, including government accredited certificates, utility portals, STC trading portals, financial merchants memberships, etc.Establish sales and aftersales facilities, such as factories/workshops, branch offices, call centres, and overseas representative offices.Maintain manufacturers and supplying channels, and engage in tech/commercial negotiations to ensure high quality and price competitive sourcing resources.Evaluate and establish a manufacturing base locally in Australia (in the future).Ensure good aftersales service to all clients, continuously improving the work procedures of the aftersales department as needed.Ensure good and complete project document archives for all clients; ensure they are safely stored in both hard and soft copies.Assess changing situations and respond accordingly to all operational events.Represent the company at official occasions, e.g., negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums.Prepare or arrange for all possible reports, budgets & forecasts, and present them to BoD and/or other demanding authorities.Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred).At least ten (10) years of working experience in the renewable energy industry.At least five (5) years of working experience in company management positions.Good experience in both sales and technical positions (preferred but not required).Outstanding leadership and teamwork skills.Fluent in English, with Mandarin as a preferred second language.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a general manager?How many years' experience do you have with forecasting for businesses?How many years of project management experience do you have?Do you have experience in a sales role?How many years' experience do you have in Human Resources (HR)?How would you rate your English language skills?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent/misleading/discriminatory.
