Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Guide and support a dedicated team, promoting a culture of safety and collaboration.Customer Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships with key members, fostering loyalty and long-term partnerships.Business Development: Support growth in key sectors, including domestic pets, equine and hobby farms.Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecast cash flow and maintain compliance for financial stability and transparency.Operational Management: Oversee procurement, inventory and fleet operations to ensure efficiency and sustainability.Innovation: Enhance the customer experience in broadening online purchasing options, optimising pricing strategies, and streamlining operational workflows.Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to HR, OHS and governance standards while fostering a positive workplace culture.Board Secretary: Act as the Board Secretary, providing insights on operational and financial performance to guide decision-making.Community Impact: Grow the Community Partnership Program, empowering members to support local initiatives.About You: Experience in a leadership position, ideally within agriculture, farming or retail industries.Demonstrated ability to guide and develop a small, dedicated team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Hands-on experience overseeing daily operations, including procurement, inventory management and retail operations, ensuring efficient processes across both warehouse and shop.Skilled at establishing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with key members, ensuring ongoing loyalty and engagement.A strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities.Experience managing budgets, forecasting cash flow and ensuring transparency and compliance in a small business setting.In-depth understanding of HR, OHS and governance standards, ensuring adherence.Comfortable acting as the Board Secretary, providing valuable insights on the cooperative's performance to support decision-making.A passion for supporting and growing the Community Partnership Program, empowering members to contribute to local initiatives.Why CEPA Farm Supplies?
