This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that leverage technology to drive innovation and transformation within our organisation.
You will play a key role in shaping Westcare's digital future, enhancing ICT infrastructure, and ensuring a seamless and secure technology environment.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive ICT, Cyber, Cloud, and digital transformation strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.ICT Risk Management: Assess, identify, and mitigate ICT-related risks to ensure the security and continuity of operations.
Establish robust cybersecurity measures and compliance protocols.Service and User Engagement: Oversee ICT service delivery, ensuring efficient and effective support for end-users.
Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and user satisfaction.Reporting: Generate regular reports on ICT performance, key metrics, and progress towards digital transformation goals.
Present findings and recommendations to the executive leadership team and the Westcare board.Educating End Users: Develop and implement training programs to enhance digital literacy and technology adoption among staff.
Promote best practices in technology usage and data management.Keeping up-to-date with Latest Technologies: Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards.
Evaluate the potential benefits and risks of new technologies and make informed recommendations.Budget Management: Develop and manage the ICT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation in alignment with strategic priorities.Team Leadership: Lead and inspire ICT subject matter experts, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.Vendor and Partner Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
Negotiate contracts and oversee service level agreements.Innovation and Digital Transformation: Identify, develop, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in systems and processes, and champion a culture of innovation.Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant ICT regulations and standards, ensuring the organisation's compliance.
Collaborate with teams to address any legal or regulatory ICT-related matters.Policy Development and Review: Develop and regularly review ICT policies to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards and organisational needs.End User Support: Support end users on a variety of ICT functions and operations aligned with adopted hardware, software, and technology.Model and promote Westcare's values and mission both within and externally to the organisation.Promote the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment and ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures.Other duties as directed.Selection Criteria:Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.Proven experience in a leadership role within ICT and/or digital transformation teams.Strong strategic planning and project management skills.Exceptional knowledge of ICT risk management and cybersecurity.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.Adept at fostering innovation and driving digital transformation.Excellent people and end user support.A positive and supportive attitude to working with people with a disability.Appointment Factors:Production of a recent (within the past 12 months) National Police Clearance.NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.Vaccination in accordance with current Australian or WA State Government legislation or directions.Current WA Driver's Licence.How to Apply:If you are passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and transformation, and meet the selection criteria, we would love to hear from you.
