Position Number: 22/24 Job Type: Permanent, Full timr Location: Port Kembla - ECTARC Head Office Salary: Base Salary: 150K - 160K based on exp + Super (legislative requiremenrs +0.5%) + benefits Closing Date: 15th May 2024 About the Role ECTARC is seeking an experienced General Manager – Finance to play a strategic role in the financial management and leadership of our organisation. This is a hands-on role and will require someone who can work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure that ECTARC continues to be financially sustainable. You will lead the day-to-day operations of the finance team and provide end to end finance services including financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, overseeing the financial operations. This role will be reporting to the CEO and will be part of the leadership team. You will manage a team of 4 staff including accounts payable, receivable and Payroll. Responsibilities of the position: Manage overall financial operations. Lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. Manage month end process including balance sheet reconciliations and oversee the Payroll functions. Lead the financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Identify, report and manage financial risks and opportunities. Provide compelling analyses, delivering actionable insights and recommendations. Develop financial modelling around capital investment to support growth. Provide high-quality, reliable, and trusted financial management and accounting advice. Develop and implement financial policies and effective financial controls. Monitor and identify opportunities to enhance business system capabilities to support finance, payroll, compliance, and reporting functions. Ensure that all legal and compliance reporting to the relevant funding bodies, including annual audits, occurs in a timely manner. Qualification Required: Relevant tertiary accounting qualifications (CPA or CA). Strong leadership experience, able to mentor, develop and motivate a team. Extensive experience in financial management and control processes. Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Experience providing actionable operational advice and delivering financial services.
