The Company:
Warakirri Asset Management has established a new cropping business called Solterra to manage a 26,000ha Worral Creek broadacre cropping portfolio in Southern Queensland.
The aggregation, across a number of assets, is located in the Border Rivers zone, approximately 100km from Goondiwindi.

The Position:
Comprising seven properties, the aggregation is underpinned by a high-quality management team to maximise first class infrastructure assets, water security and reliability with potential for further development opportunities.
The aggregation includes 7,500 hectares of irrigation and a further 6,700 hectares dryland with balance areas comprising grazing, support land and infrastructure.
Substantial water assets underpin the irrigation area.
The position will play a pivotal leadership role in managing and overseeing all aspects of farm operations including leading the farm team, ensuring efficient operational logistics, devising and implementing strategic initiatives and budgets, and optimising the use of the substantial water resources.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is an exceptional opportunity to drive the operational performance of the farm while actively implementing farm management strategies and embedding regional relationships with service providers.
The Person:
We are keen to hear from you if you have the following background, key skills and attributes:
A successful track record of managing large-scale irrigated cotton farms and irrigation, ideally with experience in a similar environment.
Possess strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence.
Strategic mindset and adept at developing and implementing plans to optimise farm operations and drive long-term success.
Dynamic leader who is both a proactive and a commercial thinker, with excellent skills in planning, communication, and execution.
Excellent communication skills considered essential, enabling you to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships within the broader agricultural community.
Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science, Agribusiness or similar be highly regarded.
