From Australia's largest boating showcases – the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and the Sydney International Boat Show - to food and wine festivals, live music, outdoor and lifestyle events, product launches and corporate conferences.This role is a key strategic leadership role within Mulpha Australia Limited, tasked with overseeing the planning, execution, and growth of Mulpha's Events portfolio while cultivating impactful commercial partnerships to drive revenue and profit growth.
This individual will ensure that all events align with the objectives to deliver exceptional experiences for key stakeholders, while building and managing relationships with sponsors, collaborators, and industry partners.THE ROLEKey responsibilities will include:Develop and implement a strategic vision for Mulpha's events portfolio, aligning with the company's long-term business objectives and brand values.Identify and pursue new event opportunities that align with Mulpha's assets and business strategy, including emerging trends and market demands.Regularly evaluate existing events to assess their performance, relevance, and ROI, making data-driven recommendations for improvement, expansion, or discontinuation.Oversee the planning, production, and delivery of events across Mulpha's property, hospitality, and lifestyle assets, including festivals, conferences, launches, and bespoke activations.Identify, develop, and manage strategic commercial partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that align with Mulpha's brand and events strategy.Create compelling partnership proposals and lead negotiations to secure sponsorships and collaborations that enhance event outcomes and drive revenue.Develop and manage event and partnership budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving financial targets.Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing events and partnerships team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.YOUR BACKGROUNDBachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
