Snotty Noses General Manager - Start January 2025
Snotty Noses Australia Pty Ltd is a Brisbane-based family owned company.
We manufacture and distribute baby health products, including our famous Snotty Boss Nasal Aspirator.
There are 3 key components of our business:
DTC via Ecommerce, Wholesale to 1200+ pharmacy and baby stores, An emerging Amazon channel in Australia, Singapore and USA.
We are on the lookout for a General Manager who is passionate about the product-based, ecommerce ecosystem and all things digital, and has a track record of managing, inspiring and growing a small team.
As the General Manager , you will be the 2IC.
You will be the integrating "ying" to our Founder's Visionary "yang".
You will manage the day to day operations of the business, working with our small in-house team and myriad contractors and suppliers.
You will manage, refine and grow the 3 core divisions of our business:
Operations & Customer Relations, Admin & Finance.
This role is both management and hands-on (typical small business!)
so be prepared to get your hands dirty on occasions!
Ideally, you are an all round good egg , who will keep our company's "trains running on time and in the right direction".
You'll see the growth potential in our business, and know the right moves to build our team and get us to the next level.
The position is located at our new HQ/Warehouse in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane with an option of 1-2 days work from home.
We would prefer full time, but would consider a 4 day week for the perfect candidate.

About you
You're an organised, strategic thinker, with a growth mindset and a love of systems, data and processes.

You have exceptional leadership qualities with the passion and knowledge to scale a business.
You're analytical with an ability to research and deep-dive into data and strategise depending on findings.
You have excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to work to deadlines and set priorities and boundaries within a team.
You have at least 3 years experience in business operations, processes, growth strategies and team management.
Strong understanding of GA4, Meta, Tik Tok, Xero, Shopify/Big Commerce and other tools.
Bonus if you have:
Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, management or communications.
Understanding of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and the Visionary/Integrator duo as outlined in the Rocket Fuel and Traction books by Gino Wickman.
Experience with emerging AI technologies and how small business can harness their capabilities for greater efficiency and growth.
Experience with Amazon platform.
Experience within the baby e-commerce industry.
Experience in retail pharmacy.
Your responsibilities
Manage our 3 divisions to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations and processes, set and monitor targets/KPIs, for optimal efficiency and revenue and profit growth: Operations/Customer Care Finance/Admin Consistently review our technologies and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of CRO, UX and CX.
Identify growth opportunities and trends, analyse and report to our Founder.
Manage our external freelancers and agencies.
Drive revenue growth by monitoring e-commerce metrics, providing analysis and reports to help steer growth strategies and marketing efforts in e-commerce and B2B environments.

We realise this role is a combined skillset (ie.
management experience and deep understanding of E-Comm growth) so your experience may be a little different than outlined above.

Remuneration
Salary $120 - 150K + super.
Company Bonus paid annually.
Option for an equity share in the business after 12 months of proven performance.
