Primary ResponsibilitiesThe QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute seeks a collegiate and innovative executive to take a leading role in supporting the Institute in the achievement of its vision, mission, goals and objectives through ensuring the strategic development and delivery of effective, efficient and contemporary corporate affairs, community engagement and fundraising activities.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and with four direct reports, the GM Corporate Affairs and Fundraising (CAF) will lead a team of around 29 in the management and development of activities that underpin the strategic ambitions of the Institute. Overseeing the development of communication strategies that effectively convey the Institute's mission, cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including corporate partners, donors and community and fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance will be key features of this role.The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and driving successful fundraising initiatives. Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills will be required, with the ability to consult, collaborate and provide expert guidance to meet diverse stakeholder needs and achieve Institute objectives. A passion that aligns with the mission and values of QIMR Berghofer will be important.
