This will require building scalable operating, management and business systems to support the company's growth. This role is part of the leadership team and a key strategic partner for the Managing Director / Owner.Key responsibilities will include:Lead & manage team.Build scalable operating & management systems.Strategic planning & execution system (EOS).Technology systems, infrastructure, automation, analytics.Finance, accounts, cashflow, budgeting, reporting.Business improvement (process, pricing, costs, cash, growth)People, performance, development, recruitment.Special projects (including acquisitions, integration, etc).This is a significant role that will require serious ambition, energy, and commitment. This role reports directly to the Managing Director / Owner as part of the leadership team (alongside the Sales Director and Operations Director). The preferred location for this role is our Perth Head Office. We will provide full relocation and visa if required. You will be a decision-maker who fixes problems, believes in progress over perfection, and is driven to win.The ideal candidate would have the experience below:Strong career progression in commercial or general management ('clear A-Player').Experience in a high-growth private business working for the owner or private equity, ideally including implementing the processes and systems required to 'professionalise' the business during this critical growth stage.Strong commercial experience, including contract negotiation & management (with major owners or contractors).Experience in technology transformation programs (including new ERP).Experience in a fast-growing manufacturing company, including new plant build & commissioning.Experience in M&A, including planning & executing the integration process ($1m to $50m add-ons).The BusinessBeaver is a privately owned, entrepreneurial company led by Josh Beaver. Its main business specialises in the design and manufacture of mineral process technology for the mining industry. It currently has a team of 110 and is growing at a rate of 40 per year. It has two facilities: (1) Perth Head Office (750m2 office, 3800m2 workshop); and (2) Brisbane Plant (350m2 office, 4500m2 workshop). It is currently looking to relocate to a larger Brisbane facility to facilitate manufacturing capacity expansion (in negotiations on 1000m2 office, 15,000m2 workshop).The vision is to build a world-class company that dominates its target niche markets globally. With a proven strategy, the required capabilities, a strong financial position, and attractive industry trends, Beaver is well-positioned to grow its business to $250m+ over the next 3-5 years.Why This Role?This is an outstanding opportunity.
