ROLE
Are you an experienced General Manager keen to use your business development and people management skills in a varied role with an interest in youth and making a real impact in our community?
Reporting to the CEO and managing a team of 6, this role is responsible for driving the growth of their key programs (OOSH and RTO), whilst overseeing the operations management and marketing of their Wellbeing program.
You get to actively engage in community development, write grant/tender applications, manage budgets whilst also effectively building out the business development arm for the organisation.
This opportunity is ideally suited to someone looking to build and broaden their experience in Senior Management and Programs with sound business acumen and team management skills.
You get to lead a multi-disciplinary team of highly experienced managers and professionals and bring your own initiatives and ideas forward for new channels of funding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement growth strategies for all programs to expand services
Create and maintain the business development arm for the organisation
Oversee budgets ensuring targets are achieved and are policy compliant
Manage marketing operations for all programs, driving growth in numbers of clients, students and families
Secure long-term high value partnerships aligned with strategic priorities and objectives
Apply for tenders and identify funding opportunities in collaboration with the CEO
Provide leadership and management of staff
YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Demonstrated track record in business development strategy and execution
Demonstrated operational management and program development and evaluation
Strong understanding of budgets and acquittals
Experience of obtaining grants & evaluation of services
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, develop and inspire a team, fostering harmonious and collaborative working environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in marketing and community development
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and with a broad group of stakeholders and collaboratively with CEO and board
Relevant Tertiary qualification in business or other relevant qualifications
Desirable
Experience of working in not for profit or community services organisation
Understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines in youth support
