This is a newly created role for a General Manager, Asset Management, to lead and shape our Asset Management team, driving performance, innovation, and strategic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: You will manage a team of Asset Managers, ensuring alignment with Fund/Mandate clients' goals and providing strategic oversight to optimise asset returns and mitigate risks.Lead, coach, and develop the Asset Management team to foster a high-performance culture focused on client satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Serve as the trusted advisor to our Fund/Mandate clients, representing their best interests in asset management and ensuring strong relationships across all stakeholders.Oversee asset strategy development and execution, including leasing, capital expenditure, and sustainability (ESG) initiatives. Ensure that financial models, forecasts, and budgeting meet the objectives of the client.Work closely with Real Estate Services, Facilities, and Capital Works teams to deliver comprehensive strategies that meet the long-term goals of our clients.Champion strong governance and compliance practices, including WHS&E and ESG, ensuring alignment with internal and external regulations.What You'll Bring: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in property, real estate, or a related field.Extensive experience in leading and managing teams, with a minimum of 10 years in senior commercial property roles. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic asset management plans that drive performance and align with client goals.A track record of successfully managing multiple stakeholders, including clients, tenants, and internal teams, ensuring strong relationships and effective collaboration.Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices across asset management functions.Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build consensus across diverse teams and external partners.Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to apply these tools to financial and operational management.Strong planning and organisational skills, learning agility, self-awareness, and the ability to stay focused under pressure.Why join Investa?
