The Role: We're hiring a GM Architecture to join our technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping technology and architecture blueprints critical for fulfilling AP+'s strategic objectives.
This position collaborates closely with business units and stakeholders across AP+ to ensure seamless alignment and adoption of organization-wide architecture principles and policies.
Proposed Position Requirements are: Leading & ensuring the effective planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of major and complex projects relating to critical I&T architecture and infrastructure programs, initiatives, strategies, and frameworks. Providing technical leadership for the delivery of compelling digital architecture and infrastructure solutions. Ensuring a defined set of architecture standards are documented and adopted within the branch and across the department. Significantly contributing to the effective planning, management, and delivery of the I&T branch's functions, goals, and objectives. Establishing and maintaining productive partnerships with external IT providers to ensure optimum allocation and utilisation of digital resources. Representing the department in senior-level and/or inter-agency delegations and negotiations pertaining to digital architecture and infrastructure. Provide architectural leadership and chair organisation-wide architecture review board ensuring the architectural and solution design decisions are thoroughly considered and aligned to the business strategic goals and objectives.
This role will also see you provide expert leadership, consultation and best practice processes when it comes to:
Solution & Payment Architecture Best Practice & Compliance Partner & Vendor Management People Management In order to be considered for this role you will need to display: 10+ years' experience working in either a "Head of" or "General Manager" role with robust experience across core aspects of IT architecture within the Financial Services sector. Experience across multiple Architecture domains, including the implementation of Architecture in various large organisations. 7 years+ experience in delivering major business solutions into production within multiple project teams. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, team focus, and dedication to customer service. Solid understanding of business needs and customer focus beyond the technical/technology aspects. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
