What does the job look like? Reporting to the President Commercial, the General Manager of Analytics & Design and Solutions plays a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain operations by providing strategic insights, implementing efficient processes, and identifying innovative solutions.
This position requires a blend of analytical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall performance.
Are you the one? The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of engagement with business unit leaders and managers to support key business needs and drive strategic business outcomes. This will include:
Data insights for EnterpriseInnovation/automation – Smart solutionsWarehouse efficiencies and solutionTransport efficiencies and solutionsProcess standardisationOperational readinessKey accountabilities include: Strategic Insights – lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive insights strategy to enhance visibility into supply chain operations.
Process Optimisation – evaluate existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Performance Metrics – define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish performance targets to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
Talent Development – build and develop a high-performing team by providing leadership, mentorship, and coaching.
Other background/experience will include: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field15+ years' experience in supply chain management with a focus on insights, efficiencies, and solutionsExperience with supply chain technologies including ERP systems, data analytical tools and automation solutionsProven track record of driving process optimisation and performance improvement initiatives.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
