Alice Springs, Alice Springs & Central Australia NTManagement (Accounting)Full timeBuilt from the ground up over a quarter of a century and backed by family values, we're the one-stop auto shop that goes above and beyond for our customers.About the roleAs the General Manager with the Northeast Auto Group, you will oversee the daily operations across Sales, Service and Parts within the dealership and you will have a comprehensive understanding of the combined responsibilities in both areas. Our Alice Springs dealership is one of our newest locations and we are looking for someone who will be responsible for developing and ensuring successful community engagement, brand recognition and the overall ongoing success and growth of the dealership.This role reports directly to the Group General Manager and is vital to the business' strategic plan for growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for both New and Used VehiclesLead the sales team, provide coaching and support to enhance performanceDevelop and foster relationships with customers to ensure a positive buying experienceEnsure all concerns are addressed in a timely and personal mannerAnalyse market and competitor trends to identify opportunities for business growthOversee service department and ensure high-quality repairs and maintenanceManage the service team, and provide training and support to ensure high performanceMonitor KPI's across departments for Sales, Service and Parts to drive performance improvementsManage the branch budget, including sales revenue and service profitability to ensure overall financial growthDevelop long-term strategies that align with sales, service and business goalsAbout youStrong Leadership and people management skills with the ability to guide teams across multiple departments (essential)Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior role within the automotive industry (desirable)In-depth understanding of automotive products, service and market trends (desirable)A commitment to delivering top tier customer service in both sales and service contextsAbility to analyse data to make informed business decisionsStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers and staffThis position requires a balance of sales and service experience along with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.About UsEstablished in 1995, the Northeast Auto Group is a national award-winning automotive retail and service organisation employing 600 people in South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory.We deliver a complete customer experience through multiple business units to provide the highest quality of service and innovative solutions.
