General Maintenance Officer | Black Town | Full TimeHardi Aged Care is seeking a self-motivated, hands-on, and committed General Maintenance Officer to join the team at Blacktown. The key objectives are to enable residential care to be provided in a safe, sustainable, and attractive environment through timely provision of planned and unplanned maintenance.
Job BriefWe are looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional.
Responsibilities & RequirementsPerform minor repairs, general maintenance, and painting touch-ups.Competent knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements.Current national police history check with no disclosable outcomes.Current Driver's Licence.Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, trimming, and maintaining facility maintenance equipment.The ability to use computers.Demonstrated experience in applying initiative and creative problem-solving on the job.Complete tasks required in the internal maintenance schedule program.Complete documentation required as evidence of maintenance attended to, including the timely completion of tasks.Be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.Ensure maintenance work is completed with minimal impact on service delivery, using cost-effective contractors, internal staff, and consultants, while complying with corporate standards and Workplace Health & Safety Requirements.To be successful in this position, you will have a proven background in routine maintenance and/or a trade background, and knowledge of Health Safety & Wellbeing.
