Much of the work will be for upcoming EVENTS in Rocky and surrounding areas, so if you're looking for work close to home, these jobs could be great for you.. Casual ongoing AND positions which are of an ad-hoc nature Competitive rates of pay Events set up and pack down Erecting and dismantling temporary fencing Some positions will provide opportunity for use of your Forklift and/or EWP Licence ABOUT YOU As a General Labourer you will need to meet the following criteria: Current Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle (not suited to public transport options) Ability to pass a pre-employment, random and pre-start drug and alcohol screening Hold a Queensland General Construction Induction (previously known as a white card) Ability to start ASAP and availability to work at different work sites at short notice You must be physically fit to perform physically demanding work including lifting, bending/kneeling, prolonged awkward positions, working in the heat Strong committment to safe working procedures As a General Labourer with either a Forklift or EWP Licence you will need to meet the criteria as stated above, as well as: Operation of forklift and mechanical lifting equipment Operation of Scissor lift and boom-type EWPs under 11m Please note: The positions requiring forklift licences are NOT general warehouse forklift operator roles, the majority of the work will require the physical demands of a labouring position with use of your LF Licence to move heavy equipment into place and on/off trucks in public places and on construction sites. You will be required to provide two (2) recent, contactable referees who have been your supervisor in previous positions.
