There is also plenty of opportunity for career growth and development.Lamination: Open MouldingReading and interpreting drawingsPreparing moulds, including applying release agentsGelcoat taping and assembling additional partsLaminating fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, hulls, decks and small parts)Performing in-line inspections to minimise quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voidsInstalling structural materials such as wood, aluminium flat bar, foam and core matHandling hazardous chemicals such as catalyst, resin, gel coat and structural adhesives and maintaining the shed in a clean and tidy manner, including organizing tools and materials in order to avoid any safety issuesLamination: Closed MouldingReading and interpreting drawingsMould care, prep, upkeep and repair activitiesInspecting, cleaning and assembling mouldsLaminating fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, and small parts)Packing pre-cut digital kitted composite fabrics into mouldsInstalling vacuums and feed lines, and applying vacuum bagsDe-moulding partsPerforming in-line inspections to minimise quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voidsAbout YouExperience using hand toolsPride in workmanship, with excellent attention to detailSelf-motivated, with a positive attitudeAbility to work autonomously and in a teamAbility to adhere to tight deadlinesStrong sense of teamwork and excellent communication skills
