About the role Activ's timber manufacturing business produces a range of timber products such as pallets, bed bases, crates and customised orders.
The team in Bunbury is experiencing a busy period of growth due to ongoing work and new contracts.
To support this work, we have a new position available for an experienced general hand who is looking to use their skills while working with people living with disability in a supportive environment.
A current forklift licence is essential.
This position will be offered on a permanent full time basis, working Monday to Friday, 7:24am-3:30pm, and will pay $24.98 per hour (approx.
$49,500 equivalent) plus super and salary packaging options.
Duties include: Using a forklift to move timber products around the warehouse and making deliveries Working alongside supported employees in completing all tasks Timber product manufacturing, packaging, and assembly tasks Setting up wood cutting and profiling machinery to make components Loading timber into machines and operating saw machines Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace What you need: Must have a current forklift licence (TLILIC0003), ideally experienced Great attitude towards working with people living with disability Experience in or ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment Experience in or ability to ensure the safe operation of plant, tools and equipment Someone who communicates well with their fellow team members Current full WA driver's licence, Heavy Rigid license desirable We are Activ .
