We are seeking immediate applications for reliable and hardworking Timber Yard Persons/ General Hands to join our clients' team in Dandenong South About the role: Monday - Thursday Day Shift at 7.15am - 4pm Friday 7.15am-1:30pm $31.23 + hourly rate Ongoing opportunity for the right candidate Your Duties & Responsibilities: Setting the machines up & feeding the timber through the machines Use of hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Safely and efficiently unload timber and associated items from trucks, demonstrating a high level of care and precision in handling delicate materials.
Load customer orders onto trucks, utilising your expertise to optimise space and weight distribution for safe transportation.
Maintain a well-organised yard by racking timber and building materials in a logical and accessible manner To be considered you must: Have previous experience in General labouring duties Have previous experience working in a Timber & Materials yard Be able to wear appropriate PPE Steel capped boots & high vis Available for an immediate start Be physically fit able to lift up to 30kgs Follow all OHS policies and procedures and guidelines Must have full working rights To apply, please click the APPLY NOW button !
